I just bought the sim adaptor mentioned above. To begin with it wouldn't fit in the iPhone 3g as the chip was getting caught, but I mailed the support guys and they suggested that I shave the edge off the corner of the chip. This adaptor now fits, and it's working well on t-mobile. I did get a couple of 'Sim error' messages, but I think that's because I started with the phone turned on. After a restart all is well.

I just received one (old version, not the brand new version that does not require the cutting of the sim card)from http://www.any-network.com but they did not include any instructions on where to cut my sim card and how to install.
Can anyone tell me how to install this card?

Thanks,
PJC

Can anybody confirm that this will work with ANY UK phone SIM (the 3 network aside)

i.e. would I be able to use a PAYG Vodafone SIM with it, or is it purely contract-based SIMS only?

Has anyone tried a 3UK sim card in an unlocked 3G iPhone, am very tempted to get a 3g iPhone from ebay and then use one of these cards but I just want to double check that it will work before spend the cash!

Ive read rumours on the web that 3UK sims will not work properly so if anyone has first hand experience it would be very much appreciated :)

I found the link via ukphoneshop.com a 2 days ago, bought one and arrived this morning. My iphone 3g is now happily using my existing vodafone contract sim as o2 coverage is poor in my area. This really does work 100% & idiot proof to install, superb.

Worked fine for me. I mow have a voda sim in my o2 iphone and have just upgraded to the 2.1 apple update with no hastle whatsoever.

What ever you do. DO NOT buy from anyone who says you they can unlock the phone using software as they dont work. I got stung by £25 from iphoneunlocking[dot]org[dot]uk.

Safe bet use any-network.com
