iPhone 3g Unlocking Device Comparison
We have just completed our tests on the available unlocking solutions for the iPhone 3g.
The only way you can unlock the iPhone 3g is using a sim device. Theres no unlock solution via software.
We’ve tested 4 of the most popular devices available on the net.

Any-Network.com
A bit confusing at first because we didn’t have to cut the simcard. The chip is on the other side so you just slide it in. We had problems with a “no Sim” Message but called support and they talked us through it within 5 mins.Very impressive support
RebelSimCard
Had to cut the simcard to fit the chip in to the iphone. We couldn’t get 3g to work and tried to contact them, no answer by phone after 3 calls. Tried by email and took 2 days. The device worked for 4 days then stopped working. By the time we got another response we were out of the 7day money back period. The main downside of the rebel sim is that they charge for Support of there own products.
Turbo Sim
No instruction on how to cut the simcard and no device to cut it with. The device worked fine for data and 3g but if we switched on voicemail we had no inbound calls. We also had to place our simcard 3 times in another phone over a period of 4 days to activate data again..
Gadget Cube
All I can say about this tin pot company is “DO NOT BUY”. The Device did not work, no reply from several emails and no phone number to call .
Conclusion
All the cards we tested did have there own problems. Especially the Gadget Cube device. IT simply did not work no matter what we tried.
For a combination of Device and Support. Any-Network.com was by far the best. The only device which was usable. Rebelsimcard worked however, dropped it’s 3G signal several times in a 4 day period. You then had to place the sim in another phone to get a signal back. Turbo-Sim ?? one of the more well know devices also one of the more well know NOT to work devices actually work for us, which was very surprising . shame you could not use voicemail.

I had loads of problems with Gadget cube.. No support whatsoever and no address to return it to.
Any Network claim they are copies of there product. There’s a statement on there website. It doesnt say gadget cube but they have worded it right.
im using AnyNetwork device on Voda UK
It is not true.
Any-network is a scam, I bought and it worked 1 day and stopped working!!!
Well you must have got a faulty one. As I have been using mine for the last 2 months.
Have you rang them or have you even bothered to tried to fix your problem.
There’s not many scammers out there which I know give full support , 7 days money back and a 30 day warranty.
Get of your backside and give them a call. They will send another one out.
I had some teething problems with mine. It was saying “no sim” . one call to them and all was fixed. Fully working
I agree with John. All it takes is a call or an email if you have any problems.
I use to have a rebel simcard which I had loads of problems with..
